Sometimes things happens for a reason. Celia has been a lady of strong faith, and after loyally working for a well-known shop in Plettenberg Bay, she contracted a serious lung infection in 2008 that forced her to resign and stay at home.
One day she received a call from the Plett Police Station begging her to look after twin children that were in need of motherly care. At first Celia was anxious, but quickly motherly instinct took over and she acepted these two children with open arms and an open heart. This was the new beginning of New Beginnings Home of Safety.
Since that moment Celia has taken in children of all ages and made her home their home of safety. This is a small charity where Celia cares for 13 children between the ages of 3 to 15. She is an amazing woman who does a great job. The children are happy and thriving under her care.
Celia Babalwa Buso was born on the 16th January 1965 and she was blessed with four children: 3 girls and 1 boy who have now grown up and have their own lives. Her daughter Phathiswa is also volunteering at New Beginnings doing all the admin work and writing sponsorhip letters.
